Why more tracks give DeputyDJ better results
A deeper, cleaner music pool gives DeputyDJ more useful options and usually leads to a stronger set.
DeputyDJ performs better when it has more good tracks to choose from.
DeputyDJ doesn’t pick songs. It orders them.
Why a deeper pool helps
- You can add multiple playlists
- More options = smoother transitions
- More options = stronger endings
- More options reduce forced choices
More tracks help. Random tracks don’t.
Aim for a consistent vibe and combine playlists that belong in the same room.
A practical target
Aim for 2 to 3 times more music than the session duration where possible.
For a two-hour set, try to provide four to six hours of suitable music.
Don’t dump your whole library in. Give DeputyDJ a deeper pool, not a messier one.
