Choose your preset based on the situation you are playing for, not the label on the button.

DeputyDJ doesn’t pick songs. It orders them.
House party → Use Balanced
Best for most parties, mixed groups, and general use. Start here if you are unsure.
Mixed group → Use Smooth
Best when you want fewer sharp changes. Good for longer sessions and social settings.
Pre-drinks → Use Dynamic
Best when you want more movement. Good for warm-ups and active social sessions.
Late night → Use Peak Energy
Best for dancefloor energy. Use it when you want a faster build and a longer high section.
Daytime → Use Relaxed
Best for daytime, casual afternoons, and low-key listening. It keeps the shape softer.
Workout → Use Workout
Best for gym, running, or training. Built for sustained energy and fewer drops.
