How to use DeputyDJ and get a better result
Start with a focused music pool, pick a preset, keep the curve simple, then play the result in order.
If this is your first time using DeputyDJ, keep it simple.
Start with a focused pool of music, pick a preset, build the set, then play it in order.
This isn’t just a playlist. It’s a sequence.
Step 1: Choose your music
You can select multiple playlists.
A deeper pool gives DeputyDJ more options.
More options = cleaner transitions and a stronger ending.
Stay focused. Combine playlists that belong in the same room.
Step 2: Pick a preset
Start with Balanced if you are unsure.
It is the best first choice for most mixed situations.
Step 3: Keep the curve simple
Use a clear shape. A steady build, one clear peak, and a controlled finish is enough.
You do not need a complicated curve.
Step 4: Build the set
Once your music, preset, and curve are set, build the playlist.
The order is intentional. If you want a different result, change something first.
DeputyDJ doesn’t pick songs. It orders them.
Step 5: Play it properly
Do not shuffle the output.
Play it in order so the build, transitions, and ending can do their job.
If you shuffle or skip heavily, you break the build.
Download the playlist in Spotify before using it somewhere important.
Keep it focused and let the order do the work.
